We’re Gene and Mary Faison! Grays Creek Outfitters LLC is a local family business based out of Surry, Virginia. You can usually find us down at the creek hanging out on our Carolina Classic 28! As a family that's always on the water, we are continually looking to buy performance fishing shirts! Between our love for our hometown and our need for quality, coastal fashion, the idea for Grays Creek Outfitters emerged!
Our family lives and breathes boating and fishing, and loves living on Grays Creek. Although Grays Creek has recently become widely used thanks to the new restaurant and marina The Surry Seafood Company, it deserves recognition as one of Virginia's scenic routes, surrounded by rich history, abundant wildlife, and breathtaking sunsets!
Our family company will not only offer coastal clothing and accessories, but will allow locals and visitors near and far to show off their love and pride for Grays Creek in Surry, Virginia!

Surry County is located in the Tidewater area of Virginia. Surry is surrounded with rich history and rural charm! Located just across the James River from Williamsburg, Surry is a waterfront county featuring tons of farmland and a quaint town. Surry is also home to the Jamestown-Scotland ferry that is fully operable 24/7 and free to the public.
There are many historical landmarks in Surry County including Smith’s Fort Plantation, Bacon’s Castle, and Chippoke’s State Park.
Grays Creek Marina is a full-service marina which features the very popular Surry Seafood Restaurant! Grays Creek is a 6-mile-long deep-water tributary of the Lower James River.
Grays Creek is part of the Captain John Smith Chesapeake National Historic Trail. In 2020, Grays Creek was designated as part of Virginia’s Scenic Rivers. The program seeks to identify and protect waterways with "outstanding scenic, recreational, historic and natural characteristics of statewide significance for future generations."
